TM 9-2350-261-20-1 BLACKOUT DOME LIGHTS DO NOT WORK (M1068 ONLY) 0043 00 INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s Digital Multimeter (WP 0780 00, Item 43) General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 M1068 Wiring Diagram (FO-9, FO-10) E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) T 1. Disconnect W28 plug P2 (1) from dome light lead (2). 2. Ensure ramp door is open or ramp is down. 3. Turn MASTER SWITCH to ON (see your -10). 4. Turn on either front dome light switch (3) on master switch panel in driver’s compartment or rear dome light switch (4) on switch panel next to ramp opening. 5. Measure voltage between plug P2 (1) and ground. 6. Does multimeter read 17 volts or more? TN GO TO AY (PAGE 0043 00-2) Y 1. Turn MASTER SWITCH to OFF (see your -10). 2. Have dome light bulbs been replaced? YN 1. Replace dome light bulbs (WP 0275 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 0043 00-1
