INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Fuel filter element Fuel filter element Gasket (2) Gasket (2) Suitable container P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Power plant rear access panel removed (WP 0431 00, WP 0432 00, or WP 0433 00) REMOVAL NOTE Both primary and secondary filter elements are removed and installed in the same way. 1. Disconnect supply hose at quick disconnect coupling (1). NOTE Step 2 is for M1068 only, if a fuel shutoff valve is installed. 2. Turn fuel shutoff valve (2) to closed position (M1068 Only). 0174 00-1
