INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0780 00, Item 29) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0782 00, Item 60) Wiping rag (WP 0780 00, Item 76) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped/shutdown (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Trim vane lowered and power plant front access door open (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0294 00) Power plant rear access panel removed (WP 0431 00, WP 0432 00, or WP 0433 00) Driver’s power plant access panel removed (WP 0430 00) Air cleaner housing and element removed (WP 0185 00) Air cleaner hose removed (WP 0183 00) Air control valve and guard removed (WP 0187 00) Differential oil filter bracket removed (WP 0355 00) REMOVAL WARNING Fuel flowing over a metal surface causes static electricity. This will cause a spark unless the surface is grounded. NOTE Use wiping rag to wipe up any spilled fuel. 0169 00-1
