Contamination is likely, and loss of hearing could occur. Personnel inside carrier in motion, with smoke generator in operation, must wear double hearing protection. Limit exposure of high noise levels to six hours to prevent hearing damage. Use of yellow/white foam ear plugs is prohibited for personnel operating M1059 carrier. a.
