When applicable, this column contains a letter code, in alphabetic order, that is keyed to the remarks table entries. EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS IN TOOL AND TEST EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Column (1) Tool or Test Equipment Reference Code. The tool or test equipment reference code correlates with a code used in column (5) of the MAC. Column (2) – The lowest level of maintenance authorized to use the tool or test equipment. Column (3) – Nomenclature. Name or identification of the tool or test equipment. Column (4) – National Stock Number (NSN). The NSN of the tool or test equipment. Column (5) – Tool Number. The manufacturer's part number, model number, or type number. EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS IN REMARKS Column (1) – Remarks Code. The code recorded in column (6) of the MAC. Column (2) – Remarks.
