TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE NBC M19 PARTICULATE FILTER UNIT (M548A3) — Continued 0535 00 REMOVAL WARNING NBC agents can kill you. Do not service air cleaner or vent system after NBC attack until carrier has been decontaminated and filters disposed of by NBC team. Unit commander or officer in charge must assign NBC team to decontaminate system and dispose of filters. Unit commander or officer in charge must prescribe necessary protective clothing and safety measures for NBC team. 1. Remove four screws (1) and lock washers (2) securing manifold (3) to precleaner housing (4). Discard lock washers. 2. Remove manifold (3) from precleaner housing (4). 3. Remove two air flow control caps (5) from two outlets (6) on manifold (3). 4. Remove M19 particulate filter (7) from precleaner housing (4). Tilt housing to facilitate removal of filter. 0535 00-2
