TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REMOVE/INSTALL NBC M1A1-19 PRECLEANER ASSEMBLY AND FRAME (M548A3) — Continued 0534 00 REMOVAL WARNING NBC agents can kill you. Do not service air cleaner or vent system after NBC attack until carrier has been decontaminated and filters disposed of by NBC team. Unit commander or officer in charge must assign NBC team to decontaminate system and dispose of filters. Unit commander or officer in charge must prescribe necessary protective clothing and safety measures for NBC team. NOTE The M548A3 should only have four NBC stations. Converted M730A2 vehicles may have five NBC stations. 1. Disconnect circuit 135F lead (1) from precleaner electrical socket (2). 2. Disconnect strap (3) securing precleaner assembly (4) to frame assembly (5). Remove precleaner assembly. 3. Remove four screws (6) and lock washers (7) securing frame assembly (5) to mounting strips (8). Remove frame assembly from carrier. Discard lock washers. 0534 00-2
