TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPAIR NBC MANIFOLD (M548A3) — Continued 0533 00 6. Remove eight cotter pins (19), headed pins (20), four clamps (16), and eight bumpers (21) from manifold (7). Discard cotter pins. 7. Loosen five clamps (22) securing five hoses (23) to manifold (7). 8. Remove 20 lock nuts (24), lock washers (25), and screws (26) securing 5 M3 heaters (8) to manifold (7). Discard lock washers and lock nuts. 9. Remove five hoses (23) from outlets on manifold (7) and five M3 heaters (8) from manifold. INSPECTION NOTE Do not use any solvents inside the manifold. 1. Inspect manifold for breaks, cracks, and signs of leaks. Replace manifold if there is any damage that will let it leak. Clean the manifold with a clean, dampened, lint free cloth. 0533 00-4
