TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE NBC M3 HEATER AND ADAPTER (M548A3) — Continued 0532 00 INSTALLATION NOTE All five M3 heaters and adapters are installed the same way. If your carrier was converted from a M730A2, it may have five heaters, otherwise the M548A3 will have only four heaters. 1. Install inlet adapter (1) and outlet adapter (2) on M3 heater (3). 2. Install hose (4) on inlet adapter (1). Secure with clamp (5). 3. Install M3 heater (3) on manifold (6). Secure with four screws (7), new lock washers (8), and new lock nuts (9). 4. Connect electrical lead (10) of wiring harness to M3 heater lead (11). 5. Install hose (12) on outlet adapter (2). Secure with clamp (13). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect both battery negative leads (WP 0292 00). END OF TASK 0532 00-3/4 blank
