TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) CYLINDER — Continued 0526 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install four bumpers (1) in four brackets (2). WARNING You could be injured if cylinder discharges when it is out of its mounting brackets or is dropped. Reset or close control valve prior to installing it on the cylinder. Handle cylinders with great care. NOTE The carbon dioxide (CO2 )cylinder has a 5 pound (2 kg) capacity with a maximum weight of 18 pounds (8 kg). Weigh cylinder before installation. If weight loss is more than 10 percent (2 pounds) (1 kg), replace cylinder with a fully charged one. 2. Align two clamps (3) with holes in four brackets (2). Secure two clamps with four pins (4) and four new cotter pins (5). 3. Place cylinder (6) in four brackets (2). Secure with two clamps (3) and tighten two nuts (7). 4. Install tube (8) on cylinder (6). Secure with nut (9). 5. Install control valve (10) on cylinder (6). Secure with nut (11). 0526 00-4
