TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE SPEEDOMETER CABLE HOUSING AND ADAPTER — Continued 0517 00 INSTALLATION NOTE See WP 0128 00 for grease used on final drive shaft adapter. 1. Install new preformed packing (1) in left final drive shaft adapter (2). Place adapter on final drive (3) and engage drive shaft of adapter in final drive. 2. Secure left final drive shaft adapter (2) to left final drive (3) with four new tablock washers (4) and screws (5). Bend tabs of washers to secure screws. 3. Install new grommet (6) in bulkhead (7). Insert speedometer cable housing (8) through grommet to left final drive shaft adapter (2). 4. Connect speedometer cable housing (8) to left final drive shaft adapter (2). 0517 00-3
