TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE OIL HOSES/FITTINGS (M548A1) — Continued 0496 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Before installation, apply a light coat of antiseize compound to outer straight screw threads. 1. Install nipple (1) in filler tube (2). Connect hose (3) to nipple. 2. Install nipple (4) in compressor (5). Connect other end of hose (3) to nipple. 3. Install elbow (6) in engine (7). Connect hose (8) to elbow. 4. Install elbow (9) in compressor (5). Connect other end of hose (8) to elbow. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install top access cover and grilles (WP 0390 00). 2. Install power plant rear access cover/door (see your -10). 3. Install bulkhead protector, if material handling kit is installed (WP 0487 00). 4. Start engine (see your -10). 5. Operate air brakes and check for leaks from hoses and fittings. 6. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0496 00-3/4 blank
