TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE VEHICLE COMPARTMENT HEATER FUEL PUMP AND FUEL FILTER (KIT II OR III) (M548A1) — Continued 0449 00 1. Remove pump circuit 402 lead (1) from heater wiring harness. 2. Remove hose (2) from elbow (3) and hose (4) from elbow (5). Remove elbows (3) and (5) from couplings (5.1) and (5.2). Remove couplings (5.1) and (5.2) from fuel pump (6). 3. Remove two screws (7), lockwashers (8), fuel pump (6), and capacitor (9) from rear power plant compartment bulkhead. Discard lockwashers. 4. Remove hose (10) from outlet elbow (12) and hose (4) from inlet elbow (12). Remove two elbows (12) from fuel filter (11). 5 . Rem ove tw o nuts ( 13), s crew s ( 14), l ockw ash ers (1 5), flat w ashers (16), and fuel filter ( 11) from bracket (17). D iscard lockwashers. 6. Remove two plugs (18) and packings (20) from fuel filter (11). Discard packings. 8. Remove two screws (21), lockwashers (22), flat washers (23), and bracket (17) from bulkhead. Discard lockwashers. 0449 00-2 Change 1 7. Remove two adapters (19) and packings (20) from fuel filter (11). Discard packings.
