INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Sealing compound (WP 0542 00, Item 33) Lock washer (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Top left access grille removed (WP 0390 00) Battery negative lead disconnected (WP 0292 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove pump circuit 402 lead (1) from heater wiring harness. 2. Remove hose (2) from nipple (3) in tee (4). Remove nipple from tee. Remove tee from fuel pump (5). 3. Remove hose (6) from elbow (7) on fuel pump (5). Remove elbow from fuel pump. 4. Remove two nuts (8), four lock washers (9), two screws (10), fuel pump (5), and capacitor (11) from bracket (12). Discard lock washers. 0448 00-1
