TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE VEHICLE COMPARTMENT HEATER ASSEMBLY (KIT II OR III) (M548A1) — Continued 0447 00 Install exhaust pipe (2) and exhaust pipe (6) on heater (11) with clamp (21). Install upper exhaust pipe (2) and two brackets (22) on weld nut (23) with two washers (24) and screws (25). Install wiring harness ground lead (26) to bracket (16) with washer (27) and screw (28). Connect fuel hose (29) to heater (11). Secure outlet hose (30) to plenum chamber (9) with clamp (31). Install intake hose (32) on intake duct (10) with clamp (33). Connect wiring harness (34) to heater (11). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install heater exhaust pipe guard (WP 0455 00). 2. Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00). 3. Start heater (see your -10). 4. Check heater for proper operation. 5. Install power plant rear access door (see your -10). 6. Install bulkhead protector, if material handling kit is installed (WP 0487 00).
