REPLACE VEHICLE COMPARTMENT HEATER ASSEMBLY (KIT II OR III) (M548A1) — Continued 13. Remove five screws (1), lockwashers (2), and plenum cover (3) from plenum body (4). WARNING Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat. Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes. Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves. 0447 00-8 Change 1 0447 00 TM 9-2350-247-20-3 14. Install seal (5) and plenum body (4) on heater (7). Secure with clamp (6). 15. Install two clamps (8) and hose (9) on the air intake (10) of the heater (7) and inlet tube (12) in the plenum body (4). NOTE The plug is only used in the plenum body to seal off the opening if a Model A-20 Heater is being used. Perform Step 16 only if the gasket and plug have been removed. 16. Install plug (11) in plenum body (4). Place adhesive on gasket (13) and install on inside bottom of plenum body (4) to seal off opening. 17. Install plenum cover (3) on plenum body (4) and secure with five screws (1) and new lockwashers (2).
