TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE VEHICLE COMPARTMENT HEATER ASSEMBLY (KIT II OR III) (M548A1) — Continued 0447 00 Remove three clamps (10) from three brackets (11), remove heater cover (12), control cover (13), and plenum cover (14) from heater (2). Remove five screws (18), lockwashers (19), and plenum cover (20) from plenum body (21). Discard lockwashers. 0447 00-2 Change 1 4. 5 . 6. Remove two clamps (22) and hose (23) on the air intake (24) of the heater (2) and inlet tube (25) in the plenum body (21). NOTE The plug is only used in the plenum body to seal off the opening if a Model A-20 Heater is being used. Perform Step 7 only if you need to replace the gasket and plug. 7. Remove plug (26) from plenum body (21). Remove gasket (27) from inside bottom of the plenum body (21). 8. Remove clamp (28), plenum body (21), and seal (29) from heater (2). 9. Remove screw (15), washer (16), and wiring harness ground lead (17) from bracket (11).
