REPLACE WINDSHIELD WIPER LINKAGE — Continued INSTALLATION 1. Place pivots (5), (7), and ( 8) into carrier hull. Secure each pivot with screw (16) and new locknut (15). NOTE There are three arm and blade assemblies and tapered bushings, only one is shown. All are installed in the same way. 2. Place tapered bushings (14) on pivots (5), (7), and (8). Place arm and blade assembly (13) on pivots. Make sure arm mates with tapered bushing. 3. Secure arm and blade assembly (13) with new lockwasher (12) and nut (11) on pivot (5). Install pivot (7), pivot (8), and arm and blade assemblies the same way. C A U T I O N Install links with flat side toward pivot. Linkage could be damaged during operation if open side of link is toward pivot. 4. Place link (10) on pivot (5) and pivot (7). 5. Place spacer (9) on pivot (8). Place link (6) on pivot (8) and over link (10) on pivot (7). Install two washers (2) and clips (1) on link (6). 6. Place link (3) on motor (4) and pivot (5).
