TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE CARGO COMPARTMENT COVER — Continued 0417 00 9. Make sure cargo compartment cover (1) is positioned right and stretched smoothly over bows (2) and bows (3). Fasten three web straps (5) to secure rear closure flaps in closed position. 10. Install four outside tie-down ropes (8) under outside tie-down cleats (9). Tie rope ends securely. Stow ends by pulling between secured portion of rope and hull of carrier. NOTE Secure sides of cargo compartment cover first, working from front to rear; then secure near flaps. Make sure uniform tension is applied to all parts of cover and that cover is positioned right and is as smooth as possible. 11. Fasten four web straps (5) to secure rear corners of cargo compartment cover (1). END OF TASK 0417 00-6
