TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE CLUTCH LEVER (M548A1) — Continued 0410 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install bracket (1) on winch (2). Install plate (3) and two screws (4). Do not tighten screws until clutch is adjusted. 2. Install drum lock handle (5) on winch (2) (WP 0411 00). 3. Install clutch lever (6) on winch (2). Install screw (7). Make sure pin on clutch lever is in DISENGAGE slot of bracket (1) (see your -10). 4. Move drum lock handle (5) to right to unlock drum (see your -10). ADJUSTMENT 1. Move clutch lever (6) until clutch is bottomed on frame face, then move bracket (1) until outer side of slot is within .010 inch (.25 mm) of detente pin in lever. 2. Tighten two screws (4). Bend top corners of plate (3) across flats on screw heads. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00). END OF TASK 0410 00-2
