TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE M13 DECONTAMINATION BRUSH GUARD AND BACKING PLATE — Continued 0401 00 REMOVAL WARNING Use extreme caution when working around the M13 Portable Decontamination Kit which contains chemical agent DS2, a combustible solution which can cause severe chemical burns. Wear protective clothing at all times when handling DS2. NOTE M13 decontamination brush guard and backing plate are removed and installed the same way in M548A1 and M548A3. M548A1 brush guard and backing plate shown. 1. Remove 10 screws (1) and washers (2) from guard (3) and backing plate (4). Have helper hold guard. 2. Remove guard (3) from carrier. Have helper assist. 3. (H) Remove backing plate (4) from carrier. 0401 00-2
