INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Torque Wrench (WP 0541 00, Item 69) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) REMOVAL NOTE There are four towingeyes on the carrier, two in front and two in the rear. Clip, pin, and hook are installed on front towing eyes only. 1. Remove clip (1) and pin (2) that secure hook (3) in towing eye (4). Remove hook. 2. Remove six screws (5)that secure towing eye (4) to carrier. Remove eye. INSTALLATION 1. Place towing eye (4) on carrier. Secure with six screws (5). Tighten screws to 130-140 lb-ft (176-190 N•m) torque. 2. Install hook (3) in towing eye (4). Secure with pin (2) and clip (1). END OF TASK 0376 00-1/2 blank
