TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE PIVOT STEERING BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER (M548A1) — Continued 0371 00 REMOVAL NOTE Right and left master cylinders are removed and installed the same way. 1. Place container under master cylinders to catch hydraulic fluid. Loosen nut (1) on tube and (2) tube (3) to drain hydraulic brake fluid. 2. Remove nut (1), reducer (4), elbow (5), and preformed packing (6) from master cylinder (7). Discard preformed packing. 3. Remove three lock nuts (8) and screws (9) securing master cylinder (7) to pivot steering support (10). Discard lock nuts. 4. Remove master cylinder (7) and bellow (11) from pivot steering support (10) and master cylinder clevis (12). 0371 00-2
