TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL LEVER/CABLE ASSEMBLY (M548A3) — Continued 0346 00 6. Install cable (1) in hole in upper mounting bracket (2). 7. Install spring (3), jam nut (4) and washer (5) on cable (1). Install brake stop (6) on cable end. Allow 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) minimum thread engagement. WARNING Failure of control linkage can cause carrier to crash. Crash could kill or injure personnel. Install NEW cotter pins and lock nuts. 8. Install brake stop (6) on brake shaft clevis link (7). Secure with pin (8), washer (9), and new cotter pin (10). 0346 00-5
