TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE DIFFERENTIAL AND MOUNTS (M548A1) — Continued 0342 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install three mounts (5) in differential (4). Use remover and replacer (6). WARNING The differential is heavy. Use helper and lifting device of at least 500 lb (227 kg) capacity with beam type sling. 2. Attach a lifting device of at least 500 lb (227 kg) capacity and beam type sling (1) to two differential lifting eyes. 3. Use helper to lower differential (4) into carrier. 4. Install six bushings (7), three pins (3) through differential and hull mounts. Secure with three lock pins (2). 5. Remove beam type sling (1) from differential (4). 0342 00-3
