TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE FINAL DRIVE — Continued 0326 00 REMOVAL 1. Secure lifting bar (1) to final drive (2) with two sprocket mounting screws (3). WARNING Final drive is top heavy. Be careful when removing final drive lifting bar after removal. Use helper to remove final drive. 2. Attach lifting device to final drive lifting bar (1). 3. Remove 17 screws (4) and washers (5). Remove final drive (2) from hull (6). Have helper assist. INSTALLATION NOTE Due to failure of output shaft seal, final drive oil quantity must be increased. To measure correct amount of oil, both final drive gauge rods must be modified as follows: 1. Remove 3 5/8 inches (9 cm) from end of gauge rod. 2. Measure from end of gauge rod towards cap 1 5/16 inches (3 cm) and scribe a line across rod. 0326 00-2
