TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL SAMPLING VALVE, GUARD, AND PRESSURE SWITCH (M548A3) — Continued 0323 00 CLEANING 1. Clean male threads of elbow with cleaning compound and apply sealing compound to male threads of elbow. INSTALLATION 1. Install elbow (2) on transmission oil sampling valve (1) and place it as shown. 2. Install new preformed packing (12), new retainer (11), and tee (4) with tube nut (7) on transmission. 3. Apply sealing compound to male threads of pressure switch (5) and install switch in tee (4). 4. Connect circuit 366 lead (6) to pressure switch (5). 5. Apply sealing compound to male threads of bushing (3) and install bushing in tee (4). 6. Install transmission oil sampling valve (1) with elbow (2) in bushing(3). 7. Install pressure switch guard (9) and secure with three transmission cover screws (8). Tighten three screws to 13-15 lb-ft (18-20 N•m). 8. Install left side transmission screw (10) in transmission. Tighten screw to 27-32 lb-ft (37-43 N•m) FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install center and right floor plate(WP 0395 00). 2. Lower center seat (see your -10). END OF TASK 0323 00-2
