TM 9-2350-247-20-2 ADJUST TRANSMISSION BRAKES (M548A3) — Continued 0314 00 C A U T I O N Cap screw does not require removal. Removal of cap screw may cause damage to equipment. NOTE If indicator stopped before APPLY mark, brakesare too tight. If indicator stopped past APPLY mark, brakes need to be tightened. 3. Loosen cap screw (7) to release spring tension on brake adjustment sleeve (8). Turn brake adjustment sleeve inside transmission. If indicator has passed READJUST mark, turn wrench to the right to tighten. If indicator did not reach APPLY mark, turn wrench to left to loosen. 4. Check transmission brake adjustment (WP 0313 00). 5. Repeat Step 3 and as needed until indicator stops at APPLY mark. 0314 00-2
