INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Preformed packing P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Both battery ground leads disconnected (WP 0292 00) Transmission shift control motor removed (WP 0306 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove two wing screws (1) from cover (2) of shift control (3). Carefully pull cover (2) away from shift control (3) until lamp (4), filter (5), and shield (6) are accessible. 2. Loosen screw (7) and nut (8) until lamp (4), filter (5), and shield (6) can be removed from clamp (9). Remove filter shield and lamp. 3. Remove preformed packing (10) from lamp (4). Discard preformed packing. 0307 00-1
