INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Tiedown strap (WP 0542 00, Item 43) Lock nut (3) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic Helper (H) R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Both battery negative leads disconnected (WP 0292 00) Center seat raised (see your -10) Power plant rear access panel removed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect wiring harness connector (1) from generator (2). 2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (3) from regulator (4). 3. Disconnect wiring harness connector (5) from connector (6) on battery box bulkhead (7). 4. Cut tiedown strap (8) and remove from wiring harness (9) and other wiring harnesses. Discard tiedown strap. 0296 00-1
