TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE CARRIER BATTERIES (M548A3) — Continued 0293 00 REMOVAL WARNING Ventilate battery compartments before connecting or disconnecting battery terminal leads. When disconnecting or connecting terminal leads, always disconnect negative lead first or connect negative lead last. Do not cause sparks. Hydrogen explosions can cause serious injury. NOTE Carriers have four batteries. Two batteries are located on driver’s side. Two batteries are located on passenger’s side. The procedures to disconnect and remove batteries for both sides are the same. Note position of batteries when removing for later installation. 0293 00-2
