TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE BATTERY COMPARTMENT BRACKET (M548A3) — Continued 0291 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Carriers have four batteries. Two batteries are located on driver’sside. Two batteries are located on passenger’s side. Battery brackets are removed the same way for both sides. The driver’s side bracket has two spacers under the bottom frame. 1. Install two T-Bolts (1) and frame (2) in battery compartment. 2. Install two screws (3), four washers (4), and two new resilient mounts (5) in back holes of frame (2). Torque screws to 10-16 lb-ft (14-22 N•m). 3. Install two screws (6). four washers (7), two new resilient mounts (5), and spacers (8) in front of frame (2). Torque screws to 10-16 lb-ft (14-22 N•m). 4. Install two bolts (9), washers (10), and channel (11) on frame (2). Torque screws to 20-25 lb-ft (27-34 N•m). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install carrier batteries (WP 0293 00). 2. Connect both battery negative leads (WP 0292 00). END OF TASK 0291 00-3/4 blank
