TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE BATTERIES AND BATTERY COMPARTMENT (M548A1) — Continued 0290 00 3. Install battery (9) and battery(10) in battery compartment. Have helper assist. 4. Install battery hold-down device: a. Place two battery retainers (11), retainer (12) on battery (9), and battery (10). Secure with bolt (13) and washer (14). Tighten bolt to 8-10 ft-lb (11-14 N•m) torque. b. Install two bolts (15) in two batteries retainers (11) and battery frame (2). Secure with two nuts (16) and washers (17). Tighten nuts to 8-10 ft-lb (11-14 N•m) torque. 0290 00-6
