TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE BATTERIES AND BATTERY COMPARTMENT (M548A1) — Continued 0290 00 4. Remove battery hold-down device: a. Remove bolt (1) and washer (2) from battery retainer (3). b. Remove battery retainer (3) from two battery retainers (4). c. Remove two nuts (5) and washers (6) from two bolts (7). Remove bolts. d. Remove two battery retainers (4) from battery (8), and battery (9). 5. Remove battery (8), and battery (9) from carrier. Have helper assist. 6. If seal is damaged, remove battery compartment seal (10). 0290 00-3
