INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Antifreeze (WP 0542 00, Item 4) Suitable container P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Center seat raised (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Place suitable container under thermostat valve (1). Open valve and drain coolant. Close valve. 2. Disconnect circuit 33 lead (2) from temperature transmitter (3). 3. Remove temperature transmitter (3) from thermostat housing (4). INSTALLATION 1. Install temperature transmitter (3) in thermostat housing (4) and secure. 2. Connect circuit 33 lead (2) to temperature transmitter (3). 3. Remove suitable container from under thermostat valve (1). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Check fluid levels (see your -10). 2. Fill cooling system (WP 0212 00). 3. Lower center seat (see your -10). END OF TASK 0283 00-1/2 blank
