TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE ENGINE LOW OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER (M548A3) — Continued 0282 00 INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA 1. Inspect engine oil low pressure transmitter for cracks, dents, damaged threads, and loose, broken, or missing terminals. Replace transmitter that shows any of these defects. INSTALLATION NOTE Coat male tapered threads with sealing compound and sealing compound primer. 1. Install reducer (1) on engine (2). 2. Install elbow (3) on reducer (1). 3. Install engine low oil pressure transmitter (4) on elbow (3). 4. Connect circuit 34 lead (5) to engine low oil pressure transmitter (4). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect both battery negative leads (WP 0292 00). 2. Start engine (see your -10). 3. Check for oil leaks at engine oil low pressure transmitter. 4. Stop engine (see your -10). 5. Lower cab personnel seat (see your -10). 6. Install hull bottom access cover (WP 0383 00). END OF TASK 0282 00-3/4 blank
