TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE STARTER RELAY (M548A3) — Continued 0255 00 3. Remove nut (7), lock washer (8), and circuit 74A lead (9) from terminal (10) on starter relay (5). Discard lock washer. 4. Remove nut (11), lock washer (12), and lead 1 (17) from terminal (14) on starter relay (5). Discard lock washer. 5. Remove nut (15), lock washer (16), and lead 3 (13) from terminal (18) on starter relay (5). Discard lock washer. 6. Remove two lock nuts (19), washers (20), screws (21), and relay (5) from generator mounting bracket (22). Discard lock nuts. CLEANING 1. Use a wire brush to remove any corrosion from terminal ends. 2. Inspect electrical leads for cracks through the insulation and damage to the terminals. 3. Apply insulating compound to all terminals and connectors. 0255 00-2
