INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock washer (4) Lock washer Sealing compound (WP 0542 00, Item 47) Sealing compound primer (WP 0542 00, Item 48) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Center seat raised (see your -10) Both battery negative leads disconnected (WP 0292 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect power cable (1) and regulator cable (2) from regulator (3). 2. Remove four screws (4), lock washers (5), clamp (14), washers (6), regulator (3), and ground lead (7) from bracket (8). Discard lock washers. 3. Remove nut (9), terminal lead (10) of cable (11), and lock washer (12) from post (13). Discard lock washer. Replace cable if damaged. 0251 00-1
