INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock washer (8) Lock washer (8) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Top access covers and grilles removed (WP 0390 00) Battery negative lead disconnected (WP 0292 00) Fuel cable cutoff removed from mount (WP 0194 00) Battery cable and power plant wiring harness disconnected (WP 0295 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove four cap screws (1), eight lock washers (2), and mounting plate (3) with generator regulator (4) from mounting bracket (5). Discard lock washers. 2. Remove four machine screws (6) and eight lock washers (7) from mounting plate (3) and generator regulator (4). Remove mounting plate from generator regulator. Discard lock washers. 0250 00-1
