TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE GENERATOR MOUNT (M548A3) — Continued 0248 00 INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA 1. Inspect generator mount for cracks and distortion. Replace mount that shows either of these defects. INSTALLATION 1. Position generator mount (1) on engine and secure with two screws (2), two screws (3), two new lock washers (4), two new lock washers (5), two washers (6), and two washers (7). Torque two screws (2) 12-15 lb-ft (17-21 N•m) and two screws (3) 22-24 lb-ft (30-33 N•m). 2. Install cable clamp (8) on generator mount (1) with screw (9). 3. Secure lower part of generator mount (1) with two screws (10), washers (11), and nuts (12). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install generator (WP 0246 00). 2. Install starter relay switch (WP 0255 00). 3. Install generator drive belt adjusting linkage (WP 0247 00) 4. Install generator drive belt (WP 0245 00) 5. Connect both battery negative leads (WP 0292 00) 6. Install hull bottom access cover (WP 0383 00) END OF TASK 0248 00-2
