TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE COOLING FAN IDLER ARM (M548A3) — Continued 0232 00 INSPECTION 1. Inspect fan idler arm for visible damage. Replace idler arm if damaged. INSTALLATION 1. Install grease fitting (1) if missing. 2. Install fan idler arm (2) on idler arm support (3) and secure with screw (4), washer (5), and new lock nut (6). 3. Install adjusting assembly (7) on fan idler arm (2). 4. Insert straight pin (8) in fan idler arm (2) and sleeve (9) and secure straight pin with new cotter pin (10). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install fan idler pulley (WP 0229 00). 2. Install and adjust cooling fan drive belt (WP 0227 00). 3. Install top access cover and grilles (see your -10). 4. Install power plant rear access panel (see your -10). END OF TASK 0232 00-2
