INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Torque Wrench, (WP 0541 00, Item 68) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock nut (2) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Center seat raised (see your -10) Power plant rear access door removed (see your -10) Fan drive belts removed (WP 0226 00) REMOVAL NOTE Front and rear idler adjusting linkages are removed the same way. 1. Remove lock nut (1), washer (2), screw (3), and idler pulley (4) from support arm (5) and rod end (6). Discard lock nut. 2. Remove rod end (6), jam nut (7), adjusting nut (8), and spring (9) from adjusting sleeve (10). 0230 00-1
