TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE COOLANT PUMP (M548A3) — Continued 0222 00 CLEANING 1. Inspect coolant pump for evidence of leaks and rough or binding shaft and pulley. Replace coolant pump that shows any of these defects. INSTALLATION 1. Install bypass tube hose (1) and hose clamps (2) on coolant pump (3). 2. Install new gasket (4) and coolant pump (3) on oil cooler housing and secure with four flat washers (5), new lock washers (6), cap screws (7), and one socket head screw (8). 3. Tighten hose clamps (2). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Fill cooling system (WP 0214 00). 2. Install coolant pump drive belts (WP 0224 00). 3. Adjust coolant pump drive belts (WP 0225 00). 4. Install both power plant rear access panel/cover (see your -10). END OF TASK 0222 00-2
