INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock washer (4) Gasket P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Both power plant rear access panel/cover removed (see your -10) Coolant pump drive belts removed (WP 0222 00) Cooling system drained (WP 0214 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen hose clamps (1). 2. Remove four cap screws (2), lock washers (3), flat washers (4), and one socket head screw (5). Remove coolant pump (6) and gasket (7) from oil cooler housing. Discard gasket and lock washers. 3. Remove hose clamps (1) and bypass tube hose (8) from coolant pump (6). 0222 00-1
