TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE RADIATOR AUXILIARY TANK (M548A3) — Continued 0217 00 4. Remove four screws (16), lock washers (15), washers (14), bracket (13), chain (12), coolant filler cap (11), filler neck (10), and gasket (9) from auxiliary tank (2). Discard gasket and lock washers. 5. Remove four screws (6), eight washers (5), four lock nuts (7), and auxiliary tank (2) from radiator bulkhead (8). Discard lock nuts. 6. Remove elbow (1), elbow (3), and elbow (4) from auxiliary tank (2). CLEANING NOTE Replace auxiliary tank, elbows, and hoses that are defective. 1. Inspect auxiliary tank for holes and cracks. 2. Inspect for cracked, weak, worn, or collapsed hoses. 3. Inspect elbows for cracks and damaged threads. 4. Clean all elbows with cleaning compound. 0217 00-3
