TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE RADIATOR AND SEALS (M548A3) — Continued 0216 00 4. Use lifting device with minimum capacity of 150 lb (68 kg) and endless sling to support radiator (1). Have helper assist. Remove 10 lock nuts (10), 20 washers (11), 10 screws (12), and radiator. Discard lock nuts. 5. Remove four screws (13), washers (14), mounts (15), and two supports (16) from radiator (1). 6. Remove four seals (17) from radiator bulkhead (18). Discard seals. CLEANING NOTE Clean seal mounting surfaces with cleaning compound. 1. Inspect radiator for evidence of leaks. Replace radiator if it leaks. 2. Use radiator cleaning tool to remove deposits of sand, oil, clay, and other debris from radiator fins. 3. Inspect four mounts and seals for cracks, breaks, and loss of resiliency. Replace mounts and seals that show any evidence of these defects. 0216 00-3
