TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE RADIATOR AND SEAL (M548A1) — Continued 0215 00 INSTALLATION C A U T I O N To prevent damage to carrier cooling system, be sure that all shipping plugs are removed from radiator. Before installing, check that all coolant passages in radiator are clear of obstructions. 1. Put sealing compound on both sides of two new gaskets (1). 2. Place two new gaskets (1) and elbows (2) on radiator (3). Secure with four washers (4) and screws (5). 3. Install new seal (1) in retainer (2). Butt ends of seal together. Trim as needed. 4. Install two mounts (3) in bulkhead (4). Secure with eight screws (5) and new lock nuts (6). 5. Use suitable lifting device to lower radiator (7) into carrier. Keep device on radiator until secured in carrier. 6. Secure two mounts (3) to two radiator brackets (8) with two screws (9). 0215 00-5
