INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock nut (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Top access cover removed (WP 0390 00) Power plant rear access door removed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Loosen clamp (1) that secures interior exhaust pipe (2) to muffler (3). 2. Clear interior exhaust pipe (2) from muffler (3) by turning interior exhaust pipe ball joint. 3. Remove four screws (4), eight washers (5), and four lock nuts (6) that secure muffler (3) to power plant compartment bulkhead. Remove muffler. Discard lock nuts. 0206 00-1
