TM 9-2350-247-20-2 ADJUST ACCELERATOR LINKAGE (M548A3) — Continued 0200 00 ADJUSTMENT ADJUSTMENT FOR IDLE NOTE Make sure all linkages are free moving and not binding. Make sure throttle pedal heel is touching the floor plate. 1. With throttle control lever (1) at idle position and accelerator pedal against heel stop, adjust connecting link (2), and rod end bearing (3) until screw (4) fits freely in throttle control lever (1) and rod end bearing. 2. Loosen jam nut (5) on connecting link (2). 3. Remove screw (4), washer (6), and lock nut (7) securing rod end bearing (3) to throttle control lever (1) on engine fuel governor (8).
