INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Left center seat floor plate raised/removed (WP 0394 00 or WP 0395 00) Cab personnel seats raised (see your -10) Power plant rear access door/panel removed (see your -10) ADJUSTMENT NOTE Fuel cutoff hand control is adjusted the same way for M548A1 and M548A3. M548A1 hand control is shown. Orientation of power plant is different in M548A1 and M548A3. 1. Adjust fuel cutoff hand control as follows: a. Loosen two setscrews (1) in two retainer collars (2) to release fuel cutoff control cable (3). b. Pull fuel cutoff control cable (3) to full out position (engine off). c. Turn engine stop lever (4) to the right against stop in engine governor housing. d. Insert fuel cutoff control cable (3) through retainer collar (2), link pin (5), and retainer collar (2). e. Place two retainer collars (2) against link pin (5). Tighten two setscrews (1) in collars to secure fuel cutoff control cable (3). 0195 00-1
